The Angie Rikard Band

Angie Rikard is a North Carolina native who delivers a soulful blend of original rock, blues, and country music, along with signature covers that create an instant connection with her audience. Her commanding stage presence is fueled by a genuine bond with the crowd — people come for great music and leave with a night they'll remember.

Angie grew up singing hymns in church and learned harmonies washing dishes with her mama. While studying at Appalachian State, she began singing in bands to make ends meet. A free ticket to Eric Clapton's From the Cradle tour pulled her fully into the blues. She became a regular at Charlotte's legendary Double Door Inn, opening for Bob Margolin and sharing stages with Tinsley Ellis, Anne Rabson, Col. Bruce Hampton (Ret.), Bobby Lee Rogers, and WNC blues heroes Rusty Barkley, Robin Rogers, and Sheila Carlisle. Over that decade, she wrote and recorded three albums and performed at festivals, bars, and private events across the region.

In 2024, Angie brought a collection of songs to internationally renowned drummer Jeff Sipe, who agreed to produce the album. On July 16, 2026, The Voices Calling was released — drawing from her Southern roots, weaving deep storytelling into every track. She is currently booking fall dates with a brand-new band featuring Charlotte A-list musicians Jeremy Shaw, Daniel Flynn, and Alex Wolfe, moving effortlessly through country, rock, Americana, and blues.
